Service Manager – Operations, Leadership & Sales

About the Role

As the service manager, you will have overall responsibility for our service operations related to cabins, hotels, and bed & breakfast. You will lead the daily operations in cleaning and service, plan work based on occupancy and season, and ensure that quality, pace, and cost-effectiveness go hand in hand.

You are a present leader who creates clarity through structure, follow-up, and clear goals. Through your leadership, you build an engaged team that knows what is expected and takes pride in their delivery.

The role involves close collaboration with the site manager, property manager, and other departments. You will be the natural link between booking, occupancy, and execution – the one who ensures that planning and reality meet in the best way.

An important part of the assignment is to develop our service business. You will actively work on packaging and selling services such as renovations, deep cleaning, seasonal preparations, and other add-ons. With a clear sales mindset, you create added value for cabin owners and contract customers while strengthening our profitability.

The goal is clear: increase upselling per cabin and build a stable, growing revenue stream throughout the year.

Responsibilities

  • Operationally lead and develop the cleaning and service team
  • Plan and schedule based on occupancy and seasonal variation
  • Ensure quality in cabins, hotels, and bed & breakfast
  • Collaborate closely with other departments for efficient operations
  • Engage in dialogue with cabin owners and actively work on upselling
  • Develop, package, and price service offerings
  • Monitor costs and work systematically with profitability

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines structure with business drive and leadership.

You are:

  • Confident and clear in your leadership
  • Structured and accustomed to working with planning and follow-up
  • Business-minded and motivated by creating good results
  • Comfortable in customer dialogue and see opportunities for upselling
  • Present in operations and solution-oriented in everyday tasks

Experience in service operations, property management, hotels, or similar is preferred. You are comfortable with administrative systems and express yourself well in both Swedish and English.

About Us

Hemavans Fjällcenter is a year-round operation with hotels, cabins, bed & breakfast, and a restaurant. We work closely with both guests and property owners and are an important part of the development of Hemavan.

With us, you have the mandate to influence, build structure, and develop a service business with a clear connection to quality, guest experience, and profitability. We are not just looking for a manager – we are looking for a leader who wants to develop.

We are located in the heart of Hemavan, with a wide range of hotel rooms, bed & breakfast, and cabins, totaling over 170 beds on the property and about 150 cabins in the village. We also have camping sites and a relaxation area with a sauna. At the heart of the facility is the restaurant and sports bar O’Learys, which is a natural meeting place for both guests and locals, offering everything from dinner to live music and events.

We also offer package deals, group bookings, and conferences, and during the winter season, our staff grows from 10 to over 40 people. Our operations encompass several departments

– reception, cleaning, maintenance, events, and restaurant – which requires good collaboration, clear communication, and strong team spirit.

With proximity to lifts, trails, and the mountain world, we offer our guests a complete mountain experience year-round. In summer, hiking along Kungsleden, cycling on well-developed trails, and breathtaking nature right outside the door attract visitors – and for you as an employee, a vibrant and varied work environment in the mountains.
